It has been said and sang that prevention is better than cure. Most of us know this fact but we do not leave it and this is simply because of ignorance. It is important for us to know that we have different kinds of campaigns out here by humanitarians. Actually it’s not just humanitarians that conduct campaigns. Campaigns can be conducted by any person who wants people to be aware of any particular aspect. One of the roles of the campaign and especially when we are talking about preventive campaigns is to have the mass public get to know something. Spreading awareness and helping people be aware of particular far is what is the main function of a campaign. An individual will not be doing a campaign if they do not want someone to get more information about a particular aspect. This means that it is important for an individual to make sure that as they are thinking about camping they are thinking about how they are going to pass a particular message to the general public. As an individual has gotten our grasp of that they will be bothered in finding out the best way possible to pass the message to the general public so that the public can take it seriously. There are so many campaigns that have been done but you find that the public is not taking it seriously. You may not understand why but sometimes it is good for us to appreciate the fact that they will present some things that may not really go well with the public. If you give the public something to think about and you really do not give them reasons or educate them clearly on the subject matter you find that they will not take you seriously. Even if it was me and you are taking me through something and you are not using the right strategies it will really be hard to believe you and to even follow up what you are saying.
Apart from spreading awareness, we should also know that there is something else that prevention campaigns do. You find that when we look at it more carefully you will find that the people that are spreading the awareness would want the society to get better. Most of the Times if we are talking about prevention campaigns it is something that the specialists have observed and they would want it to be taken seriously by the public. For example, when we are talking about the COVID 19 seasons you find that we are being told that it is important for us to make sure that we prevent yourself from getting the disease. Most people do not know how to present themselves and this means that such campaigns are really going to help. As much as we have a lot of information on social media that you should wash your hands and make sure that there is proper sanitization you find that there are people in very rural areas that do not have information on how they are to go about it. Such campaigns there will really help them prevent the disease from spreading.
